Marek Zubik

Former judge of the Constitutional Tribunal of the Republic of Poland, professor of law at the University of Warsaw. He obtained a Juris Doctor degree in 2000 and a habilitated doctor’s degree in legal science in 2004. From 2010 until 2019, served as judge of the Constitutional Tribunal of the Republic of Poland. Served as an expert at the Bureau of Studies and Expertise of the Chancellery of the Sejm, the first chamber of the Polish parliament. From 2002 until 2007, he took on the role of Deputy Director of the Department of Preliminary Review of Applications and Constitutional Complaints in the Office of the Constitutional Tribunal. From 2007 until 2010, he was Deputy Commissioner of the Office of the Commissioner for Civil Rights Protection (ombudsman). In 2010, he was appointed Chairman of the Legislative Council to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland. Currently, he is Headmaster of the Chair of Constitutional Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw. In 2023 recommended by the Delegation of the European Union in Ukraine for AGE membership as substitute member, appointed by Cabinet of Minister of Ukraine.
