Information on the results of the activity of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine in February: the Court held 63 sessions and adopted 33 acts

The Constitutional Court of Ukraine held 63 sessions in February 2024 including:

  • 16 plenary sessions and 7 sessions of the Grand Chamber;
  • 3 sessions of the Court;
  • 4 plenary sessions and 1 sessions of the First Senate;
  • 12 plenary sessions and 7 session of the Second Senate;
  • 13 sessions of the Boards of Judges of the First and Second Senates of the Court;

At these sessions, the Court adopted 33 acts:

41 constitutional complaints were lodged with the Court in February. According to the results of the preliminary examination, 22 constitutional complaints were distributed among the judges of the Court. 19 constitutional complaints were returned to the subjects of the right to a constitutional complaint as those that in form did not meet the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On the Constitutional Court of Ukraine”.

The Secretariat of the Court draw up and sent 80 responses to requests for public information and citizens’ appeals.
