In December 2024, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine (hereinafter, the “Court”) held 74 sessions, including:
· 19 plenary sessions and 2 sessions of the Grand Chamber of the Court;
· 4 special plenary sessions of the Court and 10 sessions of the Court;
· 6 plenary sessions and 2 sessions of the First Senate of the Court;
· 15 plenary sessions and 6 sessions of the Second Senate;
· 10 sessions of the boards of judges of the senates of the Court.
At these sessions, the Court delivered 36 acts of the Court, including:
· 8 rulings of the Grand Chamber;
· 9 resolutions of the Court;
· 3 rulings of the First Senate of the Court;
· 2 decisions of the Second Senate;
· 5 rulings of the Second Senate;
· 9 rulings of the boards of judges of the senates.
In December, 1 constitutional petition and 23 constitutional complaints were lodged with the Court.
According to the results of the preliminary review, the constitutional petition and 13 constitutional complaints were distributed among the judges of the Court. 10 constitutional complaints were returned to the subjects of the right to a constitutional complaint, the form of which did not meet the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On the Constitutional Court of Ukraine”.
The Secretariat of the Court also prepared and sent 61 responses to requests for public information and citizens' appeals.
