Today, 7 February, the Judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Galyna Yurovska held online lectures to popularise the decisions delivered by the constitutional review body.
In particular, as a part of professional training programs, Galyna Yurovska gave lectures for the judges of local general and district administrative courts (Kharkiv and Odesa regional branch offices) on 25 landmark decisions of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine. The scope of the lectures also included current issues concerning the application of the Court's legal positions when examining cases before the courts of the corresponding category.
Having presented 25 landmark decisions of the Constitutional Court to the judges, Galyna Yurovska, drew the attention of participants to the constitutional principles and values, human and civil rights and freedoms protected by the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.
The judge also spoke about the crucial legal positions delivered by the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, which may be useful when considering cases in courts of general jurisdiction and district administrative courts, respectively, and focused on topical issues of their application.
