Serhii Vynokurov

 

Serhii Vynokurov was born on November 18, 1948 in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, Odessa region.

In 1971 he graduated from the Law Faculty of Kyiv Taras Shevchenko State University. He worked as investigation officer at Kyiv Dniprovskyi district and senior investigation officer at Kyiv Prosecutor’s Office.

1980 – 1994 – prosecutor of Minskyi district in Kyiv.

1994 – 1998 – First Deputy Prosecutor of Kyiv.

1998 – 2010 – Deputy, then First Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine.

In June 2010 Mr. Vynokurov was appointed Judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine by the President of Ukraine. He swore the oath on June 16, 2010.

On May 12, 2011 at the special plenary session of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine elected Deputy Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.

Mr. Vynokurov has been awarded Order of Merit, 3rd and 2nd classes,  decoration “Personal Firearms”, Diploma of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Certificate of Honour of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Certificate of Honour of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

State Counselor of Justice, 1st class. 

Distinguished Employee of the Prosecution of Ukraine.

Distinguished Lawyer of Ukraine.

Serhii Vynokurov’s authorities were terminated on November 19, 2013
