Serhii Vdovichenko

Former Judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine

 

Serhii Vdovichenko was born on April 30, 1960 in Volodymyrivka, Volnovakha district, Donetsk region.

After finishing industrial college in Komsomolske (Donetsk region) in 1979, he worked as a mason of a repair and construction unit of a metallurgy plant named after Illich in Mariupol. He served compulsory military service.

In 1981 – 1985 he was a student of Volgograd High Investigation School of the USSR Ministry of Interiour Affairs.

1985 - 1995 - investigator, Head of Investigation Section, Head of Investigation Department of the Ministry of Interiour Affairs in Donetsk.

From 1995 Mr. Vdovichenko worked as a judge at Petrovskyi district court in Donetsk and from November 2000 to July 2005 – as a judge, Chairman of central city district court in Makiyivka, Donetsk region.

In July 2005 he was elected judge of Kyiv Court of Appeal.

In May 2008 he was appointed judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine by the President of Ukraine. He took the oath of a judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine on June 3, 2008. 

Distinguished Lawyer of Ukraine.

Mr, Vdovichenko’s authorities were terminated on June 3, 2017 in view of termination of his term of office.
