OLEKSANDR LYTVYNOV 

Judge of The Constitutional Court Of Ukraine

 

Judge Lytvynov was born on April 2, 1965 in Vuhlehirsk, Donetsk region.

He began to work as a metalworker at “Postnikovska” Concentrating Mill, “Donetskantratsyt” Production Association.

After finishing Far-Eastern Higher Military Command School named after marshal K.K. Rokosovskyi in 1988, he served military service, holding high military offices.

1991 – 1995 - Deputy Director, lawyer at Production and Operation Unit “Fominske”, “Shakhtinmekh” Scientific Production Enterprise in Shakhtarsk, Donetsk region.

1995 – 1997 - lawyer at JSC “Spetsodiah” in Makiyivka, Donetsk region.

In 1996 he graduated from the Economics and Law Faculty of Donetsk State University.

1997 – 2001 - judge of Budionivsk district court in Donetsk.

February – June 2001 – judge of Donetsk regional court.

2001 – 2006 - judge of Donetsk regional court of appeal.

2006 – 2010 – judge of Lviv regional court of appeal.

From October 2010 – judge of High Specialised Court of Ukraine for Civil and Criminal Cases.

In February 2013 he was appointed Judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine by the XI Congress of Judges of Ukraine.

He took the oath of a judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine on May 15, 2013.

Candidate of Legal Sciences (constitutional law – 12.00.02).

Author of research papers published in Ukraine and abroad.

Pursuant to the Resolution of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine dated April 26, 2022 No.1-ps/2022 Oleksandr Lytvynov was dismissed from the office of the judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.
