ALLA OLIINYK Judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine
Alla Oliinyk was born on January 16, 1966 in Volodymyr-Volynskyi (now Volodymyr), Volyn Oblast. In 1992, she obtained higher legal education at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. In 1998, she defended her thesis for the degree of Candidate of Legal Sciences in the speciality 12.00.02 “Constitutional Law: on the topic “Organisational and Legal Issues of Ensuring Legislative Activity in Ukraine”. From August 1992 to October 1993, she worked as an intern at the Volodymyr-Volynskyi City Court, and in 1993–1994 she worked as a consultant at the Department of Justice of the Volyn Regional State Administration. From November 1997 to December 1998, she was a senior researcher at the Legislation Institute of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. From January 1999 to August 2003, she was a scientific consultant to a Judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine. In 2003–2007, she was a Judge of the Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv. In 2007– 2011 she was Judge of the Kyiv Court of Appeal. In 2011–2017 she was a Judge of the High Specialised Court of Ukraine for Civil and Criminal Cases. On September 26, 2014, the XII Extraordinary Congress of Judges of Ukraine appointed her a member of the High Council of Justice. She took the oath of office on June 4, 2015. By the Decree of the President of Ukraine dated November 10, 2017, she was appointed as a Judge of the Supreme Court as part of the Civil Court of Cassation. On September 18, 2024, the XX Regular Congress of Judges of Ukraine appointed her to the office of a Judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine. She took the oath of a Judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine on September 25, 2024. Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor. |
