Two constitutional petitions of the Supreme Court filed
with the Constitutional Court of Ukraine

On September 25, two constitutional petitions of the Supreme Court were filed with the Constitutional Court of Ukraine. The petitioner asks the Court to:

  • provide official interpretation of the provision of Article 105.1 of the Constitution of Ukraine in the aspect of the possible bringing of the President of Ukraine to administrative liability for committing administrative offence when exercising his powers;
  • review the conformity of the provisions of clause 3 of Section III “Final and Transitional Provisions” of the Law of Ukraine “On Recognising the Law of Ukraine “On the List of Objects of the Right to State Property which are not Subject to Privatisation” as such that Lost its Effect” of 2 October 2019 No. 145-ІХ to the Constitution of Ukraine.
