Study visit of the delegation of the Secretariat of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine to the Constitutional Tribunal of the Republic of Poland

 

 

On October 17-25, 2015 upon the invitation of the President of the Constitutional Tribunal of the Republic ofPoland Mr Andrzej Rzepliński, a delegation of the Secretariat of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine was on a study visit to the Constitutional Tribunal of the Republic of Poland.

During the visit the Ukrainian delegation met with the President of the Constitutional Tribunal of Poland, leadership and staff of various structural units of itsBureau.

The Polish side also organised a meeting with representatives of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Poland, the Supreme Administrative Court of the Republic of Poland, the International Solidarity Fund and the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights.

During the meetings, participants discussed specific features of functioning of the Constitutional Tribunal of the Republic of Poland and the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, current issues of protecting human and citizen’s rights and freedoms by bodies of constitutional jurisdiction and national courts.
