Special Advisors Invited by the Constitutional Court of Ukraine
In order to provide expert assistance in constitutional proceedings in the cases upon constitutional complaints, special advisors were invited by the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.

The introduction of the institute of special advisors is provided for in paragraph 3 of Section IV “Transitional Provisions” of the Law of Ukraine “On the Constitutional Court of Ukraine” dated July 13, 2017 No. 2136-VIII.
A former judge of a foreign body of constitutional jurisdiction or a representative of an international organisation which statutory mission concerns constitutional law may be invited to perform the functions of a special advisor.
Subparagraph 4 of this paragraph stipulates that the activities of special advisor shall be supported at the expense of international technical assistance or by international organisations.
Special adviser, prior to the hearing of a case by the Senate or by the Grand Chamber, may provide his or her written substantiated legal opinion (amicus curiae) in the case.
Mirosław Granat, George Papuashvili, Alexandru Tănase were invited to perform the functions of special advisors in the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.
