September 9. The Court Agenda (Approved). The Grand Chamber Considered a Case on the Constitutionality of Certain Provisions of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses. The Boards of Judges Adopted 9 Rulings

On Thursday, September 9, the Grand Chamber of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine at the public part of the plenary session in the form of oral proceedings considered the case upon constitutional complaints of Aliona Zabara, Gagik Martyrosian on the compliance with the Constitution of Ukraine of the provisions of Article 14-2.1 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses and Nadiia Kopylova on the compliance of the provisions of Article 14-2.1, Article 279-1.5 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses with the Constitution of Ukraine. The Court examined the case file at the public part of the plenary session and proceeded to the in-camera part for a decision.

The same day, the Second Board of Judges of the Second Senate of the Court and the Third Board of Judges of the First Senate of the Court considered the issues of initiating constitutional proceedings. Thus, based on the results of the review, 3 rulings were adopted on the initiating constitutional proceedings in cases upon constitutional complaints of the Representative office of ANDRITZ HAYDRO GmbH, Roman Truba, Roman Unukovych, as well as 6 rulings on refusal to initiate constitutional proceedings in cases upon constitutional complaints of the LLC Production and Commercial Firm “REMBUDRESTAVRATSIYA”, Ivan Kushaba, Alisa Dzhuma, Oleksandr Gelykh, Vasyl Krasnov, Joint Stock Company "Khersonoblenergo".
