September 8. The Sessions of the Grand Chamber and the Boards of Judges Held

Today, September 8, the Grand Chamber of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine at the in-camera part of the plenary session deliberated the case upon the constitutional petition of 50 People’s Deputies of Ukraine on conformity of the Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to Article 80 of the Constitution of Ukraine (Regarding the Inviolability of People’s Deputies of Ukraine)”. The deliberation of the case will be continued at one of the next plenary sessions.

On the same day, a session of the Second Board of Judges of the Second Senate took place, at which 3 rulings (final) were adopted on the refusal to initiate constitutional proceedings in cases upon the following citizens’ constitutional complaints:

- the Private joint-stock company “Trest “Kyivmiskbud-2” on the conformity of Article 20.1 of the Law of Ukraine “On Ensuring the Realization of Housing Rights of Dormitory Residents” to the Constitution of Ukraine.

- Renat Priadun on the conformity of Article 130.1.2 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses to the Constitution of Ukraine.

- Iryna Venhzhyn on the conformity of Article 118.7.1 of the Land Code of Ukraine to the Constitution of Ukraine.
