A scientific and practical seminar “Execution of the decisions of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine: monitoring, control” was held on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the body of constitutional jurisdiction

During two sessions the participants disscussed certain aspects of the execution of the decisions of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, in particular the national legislative regulation of this issue and the functional interaction of higher state authorities in terms of proper and timely execution of the Court's decisions. Proposals were made on the methodology for monitoring the implementation of CCU decisions.

At the beginning of the event, the Deputy Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Serhiy Holovaty, the President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Oleksandr Petryshyn, the OSCE Project Coordinator in Ukraine, Ambassador Henrik Villadsen addressed the participants with welcoming speeches. Welcoming remarks were also delivered by the Director of the German Foundation for International Cooperation, Stefan Hülshörster.

Koretsky Institute of State and Law of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Anzhelika Krusian, Head of the Department of Constitutional Law of the National Law University “Odessa Law Academy” Dmytro Terletskyi, Professor of Philosophy and Law and Legal Logic of the National Academy of Internal Affairs, former Judge of the CCU, Doctor of Law, Professor, Full Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Mykhailo Kostytskyi, Head of the Department of Theory of State and Law of V.M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Natalia Onishchenko, Professor of Labour Law and Social Security Law, Institute of Law, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv Serhiy Vavzhenchuk, Senior Research Fellow, Department of Criminal Law, Criminology and the judiciary of V.M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Mykola Siryi,  Professor of the Department of Civil Law of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University Anatolii Kostruba were speakers of the seminar.

The seminar was moderated by Judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Viktor Kolisnyk and Deputy Chairman of the Research Advisory Board of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work and International Cooperation of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv Serhiy Riznyk.
