Refutation of unreliable information

In order to refute the unreliable information disseminated in the media about the vacation of the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Oleksandr Tupytskyi and his family, as well as to bring clarity and truth, on his behalf we provide complete and reliable facts on this issue.

According to the Order of the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine №1/1/2021-k/tr of January 5, 2021, the Chairman of the Court Oleksandr Tupytskyi is on official leave on January 6 and from January 11 to 13, 2021.

On January 6, 2021, the Chairman of the Court Oleksandr Tupytskyi, together with his wife and son, went on vacation to the United Arab Emirates, where they will stay until January 13, 2021. The cost of the package of services provided by the tour operator for three people is UAH 242,116.43. The tour price includes round-trip flight, accommodation in a two-room hotel room, two meals a day, transfer, insurance and the cost of tourist services.

Mentioned above refutes the false statements of individuals and the media about the lease of Oleksandr Tupytskyi together with the family of the royal villa in Dubai worth 300 thousand hryvnias per day.

At the same time, we would like to inform you that the accrued income (judge's remuneration) of the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine in December 2020 amounted to UAH 433,538.60, which fully covers the amount of expenses for a tourist trip.

Thus, the deliberate distortion of these facts by certain individuals led to the dissemination of this unreliable information in the media and, as a result, led to misleading the public.

Also, according to Oleksandr Tupytskyi, information about his vacation in Dubai together with Ukrainian and Russian businessmen involved in the criminal world is an outright lie. In the case of disclosure of personal information about these persons, they can independently exercise their right to protection of honor, dignity and business reputation and refutation of unreliable information.

At the same time, the Chairman of the Court stated that he had provided comprehensive information in this regard and stopped further communication on this issue.
