On Wednesday, 14 June, on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of the Constitution of Ukraine, judges of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, the representatives of the academic community, and constitutional law experts held a professional discussion dedicated to the topic of human dignity.
The participants discussed a number of issues related to human dignity, namely, scientific approaches to the understanding of the concept of „human dignity“ and the criteria for the permissibility of possible limitations of human rights.
The scientific discussion was focused on uncovering and highlighting a wide range of issues that are crucial for the implementation and protection of fundamental human rights. A special emphasis was placed on the protection of human rights under the conditions of russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine in the context of human dignity.
