November 2. The court deliberated cases upon constitutional petitions

On Thursday, November 2, 2023, the Grand Chamber, at the in-camera part of the plenary sessions, proceeded with deliberation of cases upon constitutional petitions of:

- 48 People's Deputies of Ukraine regarding the constitutionality of individual provisions of the Commercial Code of Ukraine, the Law of Ukraine “On the Management of State-Owned Objects”, requirements to an independent member of the supervisory board of a state unitary enterprise and economic societies, in the authorised capital of which more than 50 percent of the shares (parts) belong to the state, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 142 dated March 10, 2017, Procedure for determining and approving candidates of state representatives appointed to supervisory boards of state unitary enterprises, and those who participate in general meetings and are elected to supervisory boards of economic companies, in the authorised capital of which more than 50 percent of the shares (parts) belong to the state, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 143 dated March 10, 2017;

- 53 People's Deputies of Ukraine regarding the constitutionality of the Law of Ukraine “On Introducing Amendments to the Rules of Procedure of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on countering the abuse of the rights of People's Deputies of Ukraine during the legislative procedure”;

- 51 People's Deputies of Ukraine regarding the constitutionality of the provisions of Section I, paragraph 2.1.2 of Section II of the Law of Ukraine “On Declaring as Repealed the Law of Ukraine “On the list of state-owned objects that are not subject to privatization”.

The Court will proceed with their deliberation at one of the forthcoming plenary sessions.
