Today, June 8, Acting Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Serhiy Holovaty had a working meeting with the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine, Ambassador Henrik Villadsen.
The parties expressed satisfaction with the cooperation between the two institutions and discussed further areas of joint acitivites, taking into consideration changes arising from the military aggression of the Russian Federation in Ukraine.
Discussing the current situation in Ukraine, the Co-ordinator highly appreciated the work of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, which continues to exercise its powers in difficult times for the country, and stressed that the body of constitutional jurisdiction is an important institution for Ukraine’s integration into the European Union.
Mark Fawcett, Chief Political Adviser of the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine, and Oleksandr Vodyannikov, National Legal Advisor to the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine, also attended the meeting.
