Therefore, in their opinion, there is a need to deepen and improve bilateral cooperation between the two institutions.
As Deputy Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Serhiy Holovaty noted, the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation has done a lot in Eastern Europe and Ukraine in particular. „It is difficult to overestimate the intellectual contribution made by the Foundation for the Constitutional Court of Ukraine by organising a professional exchange of views, scientific and practical experience on constitutional law between the bodies of constitutional jurisdiction of both states“, he emphasised.
The Director of the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation, Stefan Hülshörster, thanked the judges of the Constitutional Court for their cooperation and testified to further intentions to raise the level of professional cooperation between the Foundation and the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.
