Information on the Activities of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine in July: The Court Held 80 Sessions and Adopted 65 Acts of the Court

The Constitutional Court of Ukraine held 80 sessions in July, including: 18 plenary sessions of the Grand Chamber and 5 sessions of the Grand Chamber of the Court; 2 special plenary sessions pf the Court and 1 Court session; 9 plenary sessions of the First Senate of the Court; 15 plenary sessions and 12 sessions of the Second Senate of the Court; 16 sessions of the boards of judges of the First and Second Senates of the Court.

At these sessions, 65 acts of the Court were adopted, including: 18 rulings of the Grand Chamber of the Court; 2 resolutions of the Court; 6 rulings of the First Senate; 1 decision and 9 rulings of the Second Senate; 29 rulings of the boards of judges of the First and Second Senates of the Court.

40 constitutional complaints were lodged with the Court. According to the results of the preliminary examination, 25 constitutional complaints were distributed among the judges of the Court. 15constitutional complaints were returned to subjects of the right to a constitutional complaint as those that did not meet the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On the Constitutional Court of Ukraine”.

The Court Secretariat also prepared and sent 60 responses to requests for public information and appeals from citizens.
