Information on the activities of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine in January: the Court held 53 sessions and delivered 38 acts

In January 2025, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine (hereinafter, the “Court”) held 53 sessions, including:

· 9 plenary sessions and sessions of the Grand Chamber of the Court;

· 8 special plenary sessions of the Court and sessions of the Court;

· 2 plenary sessions and 2 sessions of the First Senate of the Court;

· 8 plenary sessions and 5 sessions of the Second Senate;

· 11 sessions of the boards of judges of the senates of the Court.

At these sessions, the Court delivered 38 acts of the Court, including:

· 7 resolutions of the Court;

· 3 rulings of the Grand Chamber;

· 2 rulings of the First Senate of the Court;

· 3 decisions of the Second Senate;

· 4 rulings of the Second Senate;

· 1rulings of the boards of judges of the senates.

In January, 31 constitutional complaints were lodged with the Court.

According to the results of the preliminary review, the constitutional petition and 15 constitutional complaints were distributed among the judges of the Court. 16 constitutional complaints were returned to the subjects of the right to a constitutional complaint, the form of which did not meet the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On the Constitutional Court of Ukraine”.

The Secretariat of the Court also prepared and sent 77 responses to requests for public information and citizens' appeals.
