During the month of January, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine held 17 sessions and adopted 91 acts of the Court.
Particularly, there were held 3 plenary sessions and 4 sessions of the Grand Chamber of the Court; 1 session of the Court; 2 plenary sessions of the First Senate and 2 plenary sessions of the Second Senate; 5 sessions of the Boards of Judges of the First and Second Senates of the Court.
At these sessions, 91 acts were adopted, including: 79 rulings of the Grand Chamber; 1 ruling of the Court; 11 rulings of the Boards of Judges.
During the above-mentioned period, 38 constitutional complaints were filed with the Constitutional Court of Ukraine. According to the results of the preliminary examination, 14 constitutional complaints were distributed to judges-rapporteurs. 17 complaints did not comply with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine „On the Constitutional Court of Ukraine“ and were returned to the applicants. 7 constitutional complaints are being processed.
Furthermore, the Secretariat of the Court prepared and sent 87 responses to inquiries for public information and citizens’ appeals.
