Employees of the Secretariat of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine visited the Constitutional Tribunal of the Republic of Poland

 

On September 20-26, 2015 upon the invitation of the President of the Constitutional Tribunal of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Rzepliński, employees of the Secretariat of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine paid a study visit to the Constitutional Tribunal of the Republic of Poland. During the visit the Ukrainian delegation met with the Constitutional Tribunal’s Presidency and judges as well as staff of various structural units of its Secretariat. In addition, the Polish side organiseda meeting with the representatives of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Poland, the Supreme Administrative Court of the Republic of Poland, the International Solidarity Fund and the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights.

During the meetings, participants discussed specific features of functioning of the Constitutional Tribunal of the Republic of Poland and the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, current issues of protecting human and citizen’s rights and freedoms by bodies of constitutional jurisdiction and national courts.
