The Constitutional Court of Ukraine continued consideration of cases upon constitutional complaints

On February 10, 2021, the Second Senate of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine continued to consider a number of cases upon constitutional complaints at in-camera parts of plenary sessions.

Thus, the Second Senate of the Court considered the case upon the constitutional complaint of a citizen of Ukraine Diachenko Oleksandr Mykolaiovych (and other citizens of Ukraine) regarding the compliance of subparagraph 13 of paragraph 4 of Section I of the Law of Ukraine “On Introducing Amendments and Repeal of Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine” dated December 28, 2014 No. 76-VIII with the Constitution of Ukraine.

The Court also considered the case upon the constitutional complaints of Krupko Dmytro Volodymyrovych regarding the compliance of the provisions of Article 81.1,  Article 82.1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine with the Constitution of Ukraine, Kostin Volodymyr Volodymyrovych, Melnychenko Oleksandr Stepanovych regarding the compliance of the provisions of Article 82.1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine with the Constitution of Ukraine and upon the constitutional complaint of Hohin Viktor Ivanovych regarding the compliance of  Article 81.1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine with the Constitution of Ukraine.

On the same day, cases were considered upon the constitutional complaint of Malofieiev Artem Ivanovych regarding the constitutionality of the provisions of  Article 7.1.2 of the Law of Ukraine “On Collection and Accounting of the Single Contribution for Compulsory State Social Insurance” and upon the constitutional complaint of Odintsova Olena Anatoliiivna regarding the constitutionality of specific provisions of Article 471.2 of the Customs Code of Ukraine.

In addition, judges of the Second Senate of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine continued consideration of cases upon the constitutional complaint of Barseghian Hevorko Senekerymovych regarding the constitutionality of Article 485 of the Customs Code of Ukraine and upon the constitutional complaint of Koshyk Olena Valeriiivna regarding the constitutionality of the provisions of Article 48.7 of the Law of Ukraine “On Civil Service” dated December 10, 2015 No. 889-VIII in conjunction with the provisions of Article 21.1, Article 21.2, Article 46.2.8 of the respective law.

Consideration of the above cases will be continued at the next plenary sessions of the Second Senate of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.
