The Constitutional Court of Ukraine Adopted Three Decisions Upon Constitutional Complaints of Citizens

Today, July 21, the Second Senate of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine adopted three decisions based on the results of consideration of cases upon constitutional complaints of citizens.

Upon the constitutional complaint of Olena Odintsova on the constitutionality of certain provisions of paragraph 2 of Article 471 of the Customs Code of Ukraine, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine declared the disputed provisions of the Code to be unconstitutional.

Having considered the case upon the constitutional complaint of Bohdan Bivalkevych regarding the constitutionality of paragraph 8 of Section XI "Final and Transitional Provisions" of the Law of Ukraine "On the National Police", the decision was adopted declaring the disputed provision of the Law unconstitutional.

In the case upon the constitutional complaints of Anatoliy Kremenchutskyi and Vladyslav Pavlyk on the constitutionality of Article 294.10 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine declared the disputed provisions of the Code as in conformity with the Constitution of Ukraine.

The text of the decisions will be promulgated on the official website of the Constitutional Court on July 22, 2021.
