Consideration of the Issue on Initiating Constitutional Proceedings in the Cases upon Constitutional Complaints

Today, 5 July, the sessions of the Second Board of Judges of the Second Senate of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine were held during which the issue on initiation of constitutional proceedings was considered in the following cases:

- upon the constitutional complaint of Viktor Pizniak on the constitutionality of the provisions of Article 45.2 of the Law of Ukraine „On the High Council of Justice“;

- upon the constitutional complaint of the serving cooperative “Kalmius” Housing and Construction Cooperative” on the constitutionality of the provisions of Articles 137 and 138 of the Housing Code of the Ukrainian SSR;

- upon the constitutional complaint of Oleh Volter on the constitutionality of the provisions of Articles 358.1.3 and 358.2 of the Code of Civil Procedure of Ukraine.

Upon the results of examination, three rulings (final) of the Board of Judges were adopted on refusal to initiate constitutional proceedings in the above cases.
