Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Yurii Baulin met with the Secretary General of the Constitutional Court of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Mustafa Al-Nawaiseh
On January 25, 2016 Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Yurii Baulin met with the Secretary General of the Constitutional Court of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Mustafa Al-Nawaiseh.
The meeting was attended by the Cultural Affairs Attaché of the of Embassy of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in the Russian Federation (Department in Ukraine) Khail Al-Rukibad, Head of the Secretariat of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Yaroslav Vasylkevych, staff of the Secretariat of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.
Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine welcomed guests and expressed his pleasure of the possibility of holding a meeting. He spoke about the structure, functions and powers of the Court and informed guests that this year the Constitutional Court of Ukraine celebrates its 20-th anniversary. "The Constitutional Court of Ukraine has passed several stages of development, and now it goes through a difficult period", continued the Chairman. Yurii Baulin informed about the amendments to be introduced to the Constitution of Ukraine, and the role of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine in these reforms.
Secretary General of the Constitutional Court of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Mustafa Al-Nawaiseh stressed on the importance of cooperation between the Constitutional Courts of Ukraine and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
During the meeting the interlocutors discussed prospects of further cooperation between the bodies of constitutional jurisdiction of both countries.
At the end of the meeting Yurii Baulin and Mustafa Al-Nawaiseh thanked each other for an interesting dialogue and expressed hope that the fruitful cooperation between the Constitutional Court of Ukraine and the Constitutional Court of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan will be actively developing in future.
