April information on the results of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine on activities: 70 sessions held and 35 acts delivered. 1 constitutional petition and 38 constitutional complaints were lodged with the Court

In April 2024, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine held 70 sessions, including:

  • 16 plenary sessions and 6 sessions of the Grand Chamber of the Court;
  • 4 sessions and 2 special plenary sessions of the Court;
  • 4 plenary sessions and 3 sessions of the First Senate of the Court;
  • 21 plenary sessions and 1 session of the Second Senate of the Court;
  • 13 meetings of the boards of judges of the First and Second Senates of the Court.

At these sessions, the Court delivered 35 acts:

  • 4 rulings of the Grand Chamber of the Court;
  • 4 resolutions of the Court;
  • 1 decision of the First Senate;
  • 1 decision of the Second Senate;
  • 5 rulings of the First Senate;
  • 3 rulings of the Second Senate;
  • 17 rulings of the boards of judges of the First and Second Senates.

In April 2024, one constitutional petition and 38 constitutional complaints were lodged with the Court. The constitutional petition and 18 constitutional complaints were distributed among the judges of the Court based on the results of the preliminary examination. 20 constitutional complaints were returned to the subjects of the right to a constitutional complaint as those that in form did not meet the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On the Constitutional Court of Ukraine”.

During this period, the Court's Secretariat drew up and sent 85 responses to requests for public information and appeals from citizens.
