7 June. During its Session, the Board of Judges of the First Senate Considered the Issue of Initiating Constitutional Proceedings in a Number of Cases. 3 Rulings Adopted

Today, June 7, a session of the First Board of Judges of the First Senate of the Court took place. During this session, the Board considered the issue of initiating constitutional proceedings on the following cases:

  • upon the constitutional complaint of Serhii Rassolenko regarding the constitutionality of paragraphs one, two, four of Article 529 of the Customs Code of Ukraine;
  • upon the constitutional complaint of Viktor Lahunovskyi regarding the constitutionality of the provisions of Article 459.1 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine;
  • upon the constitutional complaint of Vasyl Ivanov regarding the constitutionality of the provisions of Article 59.3 of the Law of Ukraine „On Status and Social Protection of Citizens Affected by the Chornobyl Catastrophe“, Articles 11 and 21 of the Law of Ukraine „On Pensions of Persons Discharged from Military Service, and Certain Other Persons“.

Upon the results of the deliberation, the Boards of Judges adopted rulings (final) on refusal to initiate the constitutional proceedings in the cases.
