2 February. The Grand Chamber Deliberated the Cases upon the Constitutional Petitions and Complaints

Thursday, 2 February, the Grand Chamber at the in-camera part of the plenary session continued to deliberate the following cases:

- upon the constitutional petition of 51 People’s Deputies of Ukraine on the constitutionality of the provisions of Section І, paragraph two of sub-clause two of clause 2 of Section II of the Law of Ukraine “On Declaring the Law of Ukraine “On the List of Objects of the Right of State Property which Are not Subject to Privatisation” as Such that Lost Its Effect”; 

- upon the constitutional petition of the Parliamentary Human Rights Commissioner on the constitutionality of the provisions of Articles 16.5 and 16.16 of the Fundamentals of the legislation  of Ukraine on the protection of health, Article 29.4 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Protection of Population against Infectious Diseases”, paragraph two of Section II of the Law of Ukraine “On Amending and Declaring some Legislative Acts of Ukraine” as Such that Lost Their Effect”;

- upon the constitutional complaints of Alyona Zabara, Gagik Martyrosyan, Serhiy Trutniev on the constitutionality of the provisions of Article 142.1 of the  Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offences and Nadiia Kopylova on the constitutionality of the provisions of Article 142.1, Article 2791.5 of the  Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offences.

Further consideration of these cases will take place at a forthcoming plenary session of the Grand Chamber.

Furthemore, the Grand Chamber adopted the Ruling on joining into one constitutional proceedings of the cases upon the constitutional complaints of Antonina Bolotnikova, Hanna Raikun, Ihor Melnychuk, Vitalii Kovbasiuk, Mykola Biliak on the constitutionality of specific provisions of Article 2 of the Law of Ukraine “On Measures of Legislative Support of the Pensions System Reform” of 8 July 2011 No. 3668-VІ, paragraph six of Article 86.15 of the Law of Ukraine “On Prosecution” of 14 October 2014 No. 1697-VІІ, Antonina Yefimenko on the constitutionality of specific provision of Article 2 of the Law of Ukraine “On Measures of Legislative Support of Pensions System Reform“ of 8 July 2011 No. 3668-VI, Volodymyr Veselukha on the constitutionality of specific provisions of Article 2, paragraph two of clause 2 of Section ІІ “Final and Transitional Provisions” of the Law of Ukraine “On Measures of Legislative Support of the Pensions System Reform” of 8 July 2011 No. 3668-VI, Article 86.2 and 86.15.6 of the Law of Ukraine “On Prosecution” of 14 October 2014 No. 1697-VIІ, Olena Serbina of the constitutionality of Article 2 of the Law of Ukraine “On Measures of Legislative Support of the Pensions System Reform” of 8 July 2011 No. 3668-VI, the first sentence of Article 86.15.6 of the Law of Ukraine “On Prosecution” of 14 October 2014 No. 1697-VII and Yurii Rozhyn on the constitutionality of the provision of the first sentence of Article 86.15.6 of the Law of Ukraine “On Prosecution” of 14 October 2014 No. 1697-VII.
