Plenary Session of the Second Senate and Special Plenary Sessions of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine were Held
Wednesday, 24 February, the Second Senate of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, at its plenary session, continued to consider the following cases:
upon the constitutional complaints of citizen of Ukraine Oleksandr Diachenko (and other citizens of Ukraine) on conformity of sub-clause 13 of clause 4 of Section І of the Law of Ukraine „On Introducing Amendments and Declaring as Such that Lost their Effect of Some Legislative Acts of Ukraine“ of 28 December 2014 No76-VIII to the Constitution of Ukraine;
upon the constitutional complaints of Private Joint Stock Company „Odesteplokomunenerho“ on conformity of the provision of sub-clause „а“ clause 2 of Article 37.6 of the Law of Ukraine „On State Registration of Property Rights to Immovable Property and their Encumbrance “ to the Constitution of Ukraine.
The consideration of these cases will be continued at one of the next plenary sessions.
Furthermore, the Second Senate of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, at its plenary session, adopted the Ruling No2-уп(ІІ)/2021 on terminating the constitutional proceedings in the case upon the constitutional complaint of Artem Malofieiev on conformity of the provisions of clause 2 of Article 7.1 of the Law of Ukraine „On Collection and Accounting of the Single Contribution for the General Mandatory State Social Insurance” to the Constitution of Ukraine.
At the special plenary session of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine. a newly appointed judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Viktor Kychun took the oath.
During the special plenary sessions, the Court also adopted two Resolutions on introducing amendments to the personal compositions of the senates of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine and introducing amendments the personal compositions of the boards of judges of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine. In particular, judge Viktor Kychun was included to the First Senate and to the First Board of judges of the First Senate.
