The Grand Chamber, at the in-camera part of the plenary sessions, proceeded with the deliberation of cases upon the following constitutional petitions of:
- 45 People’s Deputies of Ukraine regarding the conformity of the provisions of Article 11.1, Article 11.3.1 of the Law of Ukraine “On the State Bureau of Investigation” with the Constitution of Ukraine;
- 51 People’s Deputies of Ukraine regarding the official interpretation of the provisions of Article 7, Article 20.7, paragraphs12, 15, 16 of Article 92.1, Articles 118.1-118.5, Article 133.2, Articles 140.1-140.4, Article 141.2, Article 141.4 of the Constitution of Ukraine;
- the Supreme Court of Ukraine regarding the compliance of the provisions of Article 3.1.6, Article 3.2.2, Article 3.2.13, Article 3.3 of the Law of Ukraine “On Government Cleansing” dated September 16, 2014 No. 1682-VII with the Constitution of Ukraine, of 47 People’s Deputies of Ukraine regarding compliance of the provisions of Article 1.3, Article 1.6, Article 3.1, Article 3.2, Article 3.3, Article 3.4, Article 3.8, Article 5.5.2, paragraph 2 of “Final and Transitional Provisions” of this law with the Constitution of Ukraine; of the Supreme Court of Ukraine regarding the conformity of the provisions of Article 1.3, Article 3.1.7, Article 3.1.8, Article 1.3.9, Article 3.2.4, paragraph 2 of “Final and Transitional Provisions” of this law with the Constitution of Ukraine and of the Supreme Court of Ukraine regarding the conformity of the provisions of Article 4.3 of this law with the Constitution of Ukraine;
- 47 People’s Deputies of Ukraine regarding conformity of certain provisions of the Commercial Code of Ukraine, the laws of Ukraine “On the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine”, “On Pipeline Transport”, “On Management of Objects of State-Owned Property” with the Constitution of Ukraine.
Further deliberation of these cases will take place at one of the forthcoming plenary sessions.
The Grand Chamber at the plenary session adopted the Ruling on merging cases upon the constitutional complaints of Taras Zaiets regarding on the conformity of the provisions of Article 88.3 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges” dated June 2, 2016 No. 1402-VIII with the Constitution of Ukraine, of Ivan Diadechko regarding the conformity of the provisions of Article 88.1.2, Article 88.3 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges” dated June 2, 2016 No. 1402–VIII as amended with the Constitution of Ukraine, and of Oleh Holiashkin regarding the conformity of the provisions of Article 83.5, subparagraph “a” of paragraph 11 of Article 85.4, Article 88.3 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges” dated June 2, 2016 No. 1402-VIII as amended with the Constitution of Ukraine.
