In August, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine held 13 sessions: 1 plenary session of the Grand Chamber; 2 sessions of the Grand Chamber; 1 sessions of the Court; 3 special plenary sessions of the Court; 1 plenary session and 1 session of the First Senate; 1 plenary session and 1 session of the of the Second Senate of the Court; 2 sessions of the boards of judges.
70 acts of the Court were adopted, including: 59 rulings of the Grand Chamber of the Court; 1 ruling of the senate of the Court; 3 rulings of the boards of judges and 7 court resolutions. (Detailed information on the results of the proceedings is available on the Court’s website).
28 constitutional complaints were lodged with the Constitutional Court of Ukraine in August 2022. According to the results of their preliminary examination, 6 constitutional complaints have been distributed to judge-rapporteurs. 22 complaints, which in their form did not meet the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On the Constitutional Court of Ukraine”, were returned to the applicants with a corresponding explanation.
The Secretariat of the Court prepared and sent 20 responses to requests for public information and appeals from citizens.
