Tuesday, 16 November, the Grand Chamber of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, at the in-camera part of the plenary sessions, continued to deliberate the following cases:
- upon the constitutional petition of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights on conformity of Article 90, sub-clause 1 of clause 2 of Section XI “Final and Transitional Provisions“ of the Law of Ukraine “On Civil Service“ of 10 December 2015 No. 889-VIIІ, Article 21.7 of the Law of Ukraine ”On the Service in the Bodies of Local Self-Government“ to the Constitution of Ukraine;
- upon the constitutional petition of 47 People’s Deputies of Ukraine on conformity of specific provisions of Article 6 of the Law of Ukraine “On Television and Radio Broadcast“, Articles 15, 15-1 and 26 of the Law of Ukraine “On Cinematography“ to the Constitution of Ukraine;
- upon the constitutional petition of 45 People’s Deputies of Ukraine on conformity of the provisions of paragraph one, clause 1 of paragraph three of Article 11 of the Law of Ukraine “On the State Bureau of Investigation“ to the Constitution of Ukraine.
The Court will continue to deliberate the above cases at one of the next plenary sessions.
