On October 13, 2021, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine was seized with the constitutional petition of the Supreme Court on the conformity of the provisions of subparagraph 13 of paragraph 23-1 of Section III “Final and Transitional Provisions” of the Law of Ukraine “On the High Council of Justice” of December 21, 2016 No. 1798-VIII, subparagraphs 1, 6, 11 of paragraph 4 of Section II “Final and Transitional Provisions” of the Law of Ukraine “On Amending Certain Laws of Ukraine Regarding the Procedure for the Election (Appointment) of Members of the High Council of Justice and the Activities of Disciplinary Inspectors of the Higher Council of Justice” of July 14, 2021 No. 1635-IX with the Constitution of Ukraine (constitutionality).
