Sessions of the Grand Chamber and the Board of Judges of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Were Held
On May 11, the Grand Chamber of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine at an in-camera part of the plenary session considered the case upon the constitutional petition of 54 People's Deputies of Ukraine on the constitutionality of certain provisions of the laws of Ukraine "On Verification and Monitoring of State Payments", "On Banks and Banking", "On State Border Service of Ukraine", "On Personal Data Protection", " On State Registration of Civil Status Acts", "On Collection and Accounting of a Single Contribution to the Obligatory State Social Insurance", "On the State Register of Voters", "On Information", "On Employment", "On the Unified State Demographic Register and Documents Confirming the Citizenship of Ukraine, Identity or Special Status", "On State Registration of Real Rights to Immovable Property and their Encumbrances", "On State Registration of Legal Entities, Natural Persons-Entrepreneurs and Public Formations". The Court will proceed with consideration of this case.
Also at the session, three rulings of the Grand Chamber were adopted based on the results of consideration of the issue of extending the term of ruling adoption by the Boards of Judges of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine on initiating or refusal to initiate constitutional proceedings upon constitutional appeal and constitutional complaints.
In addition, during the session of the Second Board of Judges of the Second Senate of the Court the issue of initiating constitutional proceedings upon the constitutional petition of 49 People's Deputies of Ukraine on the constitutionality of decrees of the President of Ukraine "On Removal from Office of a Judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine" of December 29, 2020 № 607/2020, "On Removal from Office of a Judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine" of February 26, 2021 № 79/2021, "On Some Issues of Ensuring the National Security of Ukraine" of March 27, 2021 № 124/2021 was examined. The issue will be considered at the further Board session.
