Some Acts of the President of Ukraine Challenged at the Constitutional Court of Ukraine

On 8 April 2021, a constitutional petition of 49 People’s Deputies of Ukraine regarding the constitutionality of the Decrees of the President of Ukraine “On Removal of the Judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine from Office” dated December 29, 2020 No. 607/2020, “On Removal of the Judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine from Office” dated February 26, 2021 No. 79/2021, “On Some Issues of Ensuring the National Security of Ukraine” dated March 27, 2021 No. 124/2021 were filed in the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.
The petitioners request to declare the disputed acts of the President of Ukraine as inconsistent with a number of norms of the Constitution of Ukraine.
