Visit to Seoul
On August 31, the delegation of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine left for Seoul (Republic of Korea) headed by the Court’s Chairman Andrii Stryzhak. The delegation was invited by the President of the Constitutional Court of Korea Kang-Kook Lee to attend the International Symposium in Celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Constitutional Court of Korea “Separation of Powers and Constitutional Adjudication in the 21st Century”.
Distinguished representatives of constitutional courts from over 30 states all over the world will discuss important aspects of relations between constitutional justice and legislative, executive and judicial branches of power.
Head of the Ukrainian delegation Andrii Stryzhak will make a presentation on “Legal Foundations and Organisational Issues of Interaction of the Constitutional Court and the Parliament in Ukraine”.
The symposium will be also attended by representatives of numerous international institutions, including Conference of Constitutional Control Organs of the States of New Democracy, Conference of the European Constitutional Courts, Venice Commission of the Council of Europe and the Union of Arab Constitutional Courts and Councils.
